An interactive activity: Looking up Words in Dictionaries
This activity provides learners with room for  exploratory learning. Learners work out different ways they find most effective and efficient in looking up words in dictionaries with which they complete
activities such as finding a particular word, choosing the correct meaning, finding words of similar meanings and making word cards and word banks.  In the end, learners use the feedback sheet to evaluate how they have performed in the activities. The skills of using dictionaries can help learners become better independent learners paving the way for self learning.
